Many ministries desire strategic planning but need biblical tools to be truly effective. In 1997, Faith Baptist Church began a planning process that by God’s grace has borne substantial fruit. The greatest benefit has been in providing Christ-honoring direction, motivation, and unity. This has been clearly manifested in the areas of communication, discipleship, and outreach.

There are numerous training programs that desire to teach a strategic planning process. What separates The Nehemiah Strategy is that its foundation rests clearly upon the Word of God. The Bible is rich in examples of planning from Genesis to Revelation. Understanding that the whole idea of strategic planning flows out of the character of God should be a great encouragement to any ministry leader who has desired to make God-honoring plans.

The Nehemiah Strategy seminar is the result of numerous inquiries regarding how God has blessed our ministry with growth in many areas. In our attempt to explain our planning process, we realized that what we had learned could be of benefit to many others involved in Christian ministry.
