Foundations & Adding the Structure

Begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 9:45 p.m.
Saturday, March 20, April 17, May 15
Begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
All sessions must be attended. This is an intensive training program. We regret that childcare will not be available.
Track One
Foundations
Track One begins laying the foundation of biblical counseling principles and practices, family relationships, and the Christian life. This is the track required for NANC certification.
Topics include:
- Key elements of biblical counseling
- What makes biblical counseling biblical
- Comparison of counseling philosophies
- Doctrine of spiritual growth
- Marriage roles and parenting
- Rules of communication
- Depression
- Forgiveness
- Anger, fear, and worry
- Video case observation
Track Two
Adding the Structure
This track is designed to add the structure to the foundation built in Track One, and covers a wide range of subjects and concerns.
Topics include:
- Handling problem people within the church
- Superiority of Bible answers
- Heart of change
- Will of God
- Anthropology: Biblical view of man
- Overcoming evil
- Self-Image
- Fibromyalgia
- Infertility & Miscarriage
- Video case observation
