Mrs. Nicole Hume is in charge of the Bible quiz team program at Faith. This school year the elementary Bible quiz team focused on 1 Peter. Students meet weekly to memorize and practice quoting verses from this passage in order to compete against other schools in the area of Scripture memory. It is the goal of those involved not only to memorize Scripture for the sake of competition, but also to apply God’s word and truth to their daily lives.

We meet each week, Tuesday - Friday, from 9:00 - 9:30 AM in room 213. Students should be prepared for every class meeting with their James book, notebook or folder (including blank notebook paper), blue or black pen or pencil, and red pen. Those who are unprepared for Bible Quiz class will return to their home classroom and receive a zero for the day.
Weekly quizzes will be given over new verses and verses previously learned. Each week we will also practice on the quiz pads and work together to memorize, understand, and apply verses from James.
Our next FABA competition will be held on January 31, 2008. We will have practices after school each month as we prepare. Parents are encouraged to attend and support the quizzers. Please email Mrs. Hume if you have suggestions for dates or requests for dates to avoid!
