About FCS Preschool & Childcare
Now accepting applications! Faith Christian Preschool & Child Care is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church serving those in the Greater Lafayette area with preschoolers, ages three and four.
Join us Saturday, March 13, 2010 for our Preschool Roundup! The preschool is located in the Faith Community Center, one mile east of I-65 on State Road 26 East. General hours of operation are 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Holiday hours vary and are available at the preschool. Additional information on admission requirements is available. For more information, please contact Stacy Hancock at (765) 449-0120.
K4 preschool (for four-year-olds) meets Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 8:30am-11:30am. K3 (three-year-olds) meets Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am -11:30am. Optional child care is provided for the days and afternoons when the children are not attending preschool. All children are required to be fully potty trained (and not using pull-ups).
Academic Instruction
The core of our teaching material comes from a biblically based curriculum. Children begin each day with a Bible story and scripture memory. Character qualities such as obedience, respect, honesty, responsibility, kindness, etc., are incorporated into the overall program. Other academic instruction includes the following topics:
