Vision of Hope will be hosting quarterly Days with the Director on the following dates:
- March 1, 2010
- March 24, 2010
- August 30, 2010
- November 29, 2010
The day will begin with an overview of the policies guiding the program and will include in-depth looks at the staff team, the structure of the program, the goals with the residents, and the paperwork and forms that guide the individualized ministry to at-risk girls. A tour of the facility will also be included as well as an opportunity for Q and A.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
- 8:00 - 9:00 AM - Overview of the program, its initiatives and structure, and the guiding philosophies
- 9:00 - 10:00 AM - Understanding the staff team
- 10:00 - 11:00 AM - Tour of the facility
- 11:00 - 12:00 PM - Networking lunch; Q and A time with Director
- 12:00 - 1:00 PM - Intake and Admissions
- 1:00 - 2:00 PM - Paperwork and Forms
- 2:00 - 3:00 PM - Counseling Issues at VOH; Helping the residents address problems
- 3:00 - 4:00 PM - Budgets; Funding; Partnerships
- 4:00 - 5:00 PM - Q and A time with Director
Each participant will leave with a digital policy and procedure manual along with digital copies of all the forms and guidelines used to provide the programming.
This is a great opportunity to see how Vision of Hope runs, to brainstorm with other guests thinking about opening similar homes, and to network with others committed to the sufficiency and authority of scripture and applying counseling truths to specific situations.
The cost is $100 per person ($125 for married couples), and $75 for each additional guest from that group. Attendance is limited to only 15 guests per training day. Lunch is provided in the registration costs.
Accomodations are not included. However, the Vision of Hope office staff can recommend hotels, provide airport information, or discuss transportation options if needed.
